Can I give a cat ibuprofen for pain or arthritis?

No, you should NOT give ibuprofen to your cat. People often get this advice as a home remedy - but it is a BAD idea because Ibuprofen and many other OTC pills that people frequently use are toxic to cats. It is toxic to cats, can be lethal, and even in small doses Ibuprofen can lead to pretty severe ulcers in cats.
