What is a flea fogger?

Flea foggers are little spray things that you leave in the house for awhile while you are out. They spray chemicals, which kill off the fleas, the larva, and their eggs. It usually takes about 8 hours for it to be complete, so you'll have to wait awhile. They're pretty effective at killing off fleas at all stages of the life cycle, but the downside is that you'll have to do something about your pet (give it a flea bath before you fog the house) and you also need to do something about your yard if you have a dog, because it will go right back outside and bring them back into the house if you don't. Diatomaceous soil is a good way to deal with them out there, because you can just spread it around and get rid of most of them.

Things to remember: Take your pets out! Don't leave them in there with a fogger. Also, bring their food dishes with you! You don't want to leave out a bowl of water and then let chemicals get sprayed into it for a cat or dog to drink.
