Granulex Spray

Granulex is a spray that is used in dogs, cats, and horses to treat wounds. It comes in an aerosol can, and you spray it onto the wound. It gets rid of junk in the wound that inhibits healing - stuff like dead tissue, external debris, and pus. It includes an enzyme called trypsin, which helps the body get rid of dead tissues and materials that would otherwise stay in the wound. You have to keep it away from your pet's eyes and make sure the spray doesn't get into them, so you may want to do it with someone holding the pet down.
